Police appeal after motorcyclist hits pedestrian in Chatham

Police have released CCTV images of a motorcyclist who allegedly failed to stop after colliding with a pedestrian.

It happened in New Road, Chatham, at around 2.45pm.

The pedestrian, a 22-year-old man, suffered neck and back injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.

The motorcyclist was wearing black leathers and had a black rucksack with red lettering.

The motorcycle is believed to be a 6 KTM DUKE 390 with red wheels.

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Richard Sweetland on 101, quoting incident number 20-687.
