One woman who was walking with her daughter this morning at around 8.50am walked past the black bag, which freaked her out.

She said: "We saw a black bag in the alley which looked like intestines hanging out of the bag, but I thought maybe it was some big sausages joined together so I didn't report it.

"I had to step over the bag and didn't look in it as I had my daughter with me.

"When we was walking home there was more police and it was taped off."

However, it's now been confirmed to the Medway Messenger it was a bag of offal and has since been removed.
