Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish keen for players to make most of enforced break

Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish is hoping an enforced break will have a positive affect on his team.

Invicta are without a game this weekend as their Silver Blades venue is being used to stage an ice show.

But after two straight defeats, including Sunday’s 8-4 home loss to Romford Raiders in the NIHL South Division 1, the break may be welcome.

Parrish, pictured, said: "I was going to have them in after that defeat but I told them a couple of weeks ago they would have the weekend off.

"Many of them already have plans and so unfortunately we can’t have the players in. But it might do everyone good to get away from each other for a bit and return and start afresh.

"When we return, we do have to improve and that’s from myself upwards. We have to be better."
