Invicta Dynamos get their play-off campaign on track with win over Oxford City Stars

Invicta Dynamos' Nicky Lewis

Invicta Dynamos began their ENIHL South Division 1 championship play-off campaign with a 7-2 win at the Oxford City Stars on Sunday.

Having been forced to forfeit their opening home game Invicta league winnersagainst Bracknell because the Gillingham Ice Bowl was unavailable, travelled to Oxford knowing that victory was vital and they achieved it with a strong all-round team display.

Their goals came from Nicky Lewis (2), pictured, Andy Smith (2), Elliot Andrews, AJ Smith and Peter Vaisanen.

Dynamos now face a crucial double header with a trip to Bracknell onSaturday followed by the return fixture against Oxford at the Ice Bowl the following day.
