Invicta Dynamos suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Milton Keynes Thunder on Sunday evening.

A depleted Mos - without both Andy Smith (pictured) and Tim Smith - went down 3-2 at third-bottom Milton Keynes to suffer their first defeat in 11 games in ENIHL Division 1 South.

The hosts took the lead but Daniel Borges and Michael Timms turned the game on its head before the end of the first period.

However the Thunder equalised during the second and snatched the winner in the final frame.

Second-placed Invicta now lie five points behind leaders Wightlink Raiders - though they have four games in hand.
