Rochester beauty Kelly Brook has confirmed she is no longer engaged to David McIntosh.

The model made the announcement on Twitter last night.

"It's a sad day," she tweeted, "but I wanted to share with you that David and I are no longer engaged."

The 34-year-old added: "I love and respect him and wish him all the best."

The former Gladiator, known as Tornado, was also part of this year's Celebrity Big Brother but was first to be evicted from the house.

Their whirlwind romance saw them meet on New Year's Eve and Kelly accepted David's proposal eight weeks later.

More recently they holidayed together in Greece, sharing numerous pictures of themselves on social media which have since been deleted.
