Peter's Place plans charity zombie walk through Rochester

By: Clare Freeman

A horde of zombies is set to invade the streets of Rochester but rather than devouring brains, they are hoping to collect money for charity.

The swarm is aiming to raise funds and awareness for Peter’s Place, a charity which helps young people with life-limiting illnesses in Medway and Kent.

The zombie walk will take place on Saturday with walkers asked to be at Rochester Castle Gardens by 2pm.

Participants needing make-up and fake blood should arrive at 1.30pm.

The slow walk, which will take about an hour, will head to Jackson’s Field via Rochester High Street before returning to the green.
