It is 75 years since the start of the Doodlebug Summer when Kent was bombarded with V1 rockets from German forces in mainland Europe.

On June 13, 1944, the first of what would be thousands of missiles fell near Swanscombe, in a terrifying twist to the war.

To mark this landmark anniversary, we've produced a 16-page supplement, featuring personal stories from people who lived through the terror.

They've told us of the drama, fear and amazement at seeing the Doodlebugs flying overhead and crashing around the county.
