Traffic is backed up and roundabout partly closed after van and lorry crashed on A288 Four Elms Hill near Wainscott

A van and a lorry crashed on a busy roundabout this morning.

Police are currently at the roundabout where the A228 Four Elms Hill meets the A289 at Wainscott.

The van and articulated lorry collided at around 9am, and traffic was backed up for almost two hours.

The roundabout was briefly closed at around 9.40am to allow police to move the lorry out of a live lane.

The van was recovered around 10.20am and officers remain at the scene to manage traffic.
