Two drivers were lucky not to be badly injured after a tree came crashing to the ground - directly hitting one of them.

Dramatic footage from a driving instructor's dashcam shows the tree falling into the path of a car in Pear Tree Lane, Chatham.

Geoff Watkins said the car involved was badly damaged in the incident - as was his own car.

The instructor was able to stop suddenly after the incident, despite the tree causing debris across the road.
