An accident on the slip road of the M2 at Chatham has caused traffic delays.

A car has crashed into a lamp post at junction 3 for the A229 Blue Bell Hill and the coastbound slip road has been closed.

The Highways Agency said the post needs to be removed before the road can be re-opened.
