Man charged over suspected links to county lines drug supply in Chatham

A man has been charged over suspected links to county lines drug dealing in Chatham .

Officers from the County Line and Gangs Team attended a suspicious address in Maidstone Road at around 12.15pm on Monday September 28.

Around 50 street deals of heroin and crack cocaine were seized after a man inside the property was searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Cash and a mobile phone were also recovered.

Jason Alvaro, aged 19 of Ordnance Road, Enfield, Middlesex, was arrested, and was later charged with possessing heroin with intent to supply and with possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on September 29.
