Man charged after stabbing in John Street, Rochester

A man has appeared in court following a stabbing over the weekend.

Dave O' Connell, of Barnsole Road, Gillingham was arrested after police were called out to John Street, Rochester on Saturday.

Medway Magistrates' Court (13124629)

The victim had suffered a stab wound but is expected to make a full recovery.

O' Connell, 31, was charged with grievous bodily harm appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday.

He was remanded in custody and his case was sent to Maidstone Crown Court to be dealt with.

He is next due to appear there on Monday, September 23.
