Burglary suspect David Solly charged with multiple offences in Gillingham and Chatham

A suspected serial thief has been remanded in custody.

David Solly is due to appear in Medway Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday) charged with three burglaries, one attempted break in, fraud and theft.

The 39-year-old, of Canterbury Street, Gillingham, was arrested on Monday in relation to the which took place between January 15 and February 14.

He's accused of entering a home in The Hamiltons, Chatham, on January 15 but leaving empty handed.

A day later he allegedly tried to break in to a premises in Oxford Road, Gillingham.

He's then accused of stealing a wallet from a lorry parked in Capstone Road, Capstone, on January 24.

Solly allegedly committed fraud by using a stolen bank card.

He's also said to have stolen booze from a restaurant in Watling Street, Gillingham, on Valentine's Day before returning and taking more.
