Rainham man charged with drink driving outside Casino Rooms nightclub in Rochester

A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving outside a nightclub.

A silver BMW blocked off the car park opposite Casino Rooms, Rochester, early Sunday morning.

The car cut off the exit of Blue Boar car park.

Police were called to the club in Blue Boar Lane at 3.30am.

They arrested Viorel Merlan, of Wakeley Road, Rainham, and charged him with driving under the influence.

The 20-year-old will appear at Medway Magistrates Court on Tuesday, January 14.
