Rochester man arrested after incidents at Pentagon Centre, Chatham

A man has been arrested after allegedly exposing himself to one woman and sexually assaulting another.

Detectives are searching for the victims of the two reported incidents at a shopping centre in Chatham.

Officers were called following the two separate incidents, involving different victims, at the Pentagon Centre between 5.30pm and 6pm yesterday (Friday, June 17).

A man is reported to have forcibly touched one woman inappropriately over her clothing.

He is also alleged to have exposed himself to another before causing damage to a taxi.

Police units attended the scene and arrested a 37-year-old man from Rochester in connection to the offences.

The suspect was later bailed to return to the police station, pending further investigation

Both women left the scene before police attended and officers are keen to hear from them by calling 101 or online at www.kent.police.uk/report
