Man falls from wall

A man who fell from an 8ft wall in the Riverside Country Park area of Gillingham, had to be taken to hospital by paramedics.
The 28-year-old, who has not been named, suffered back and neck injuries in the fall on Sunday.
One resident who lives nearby but didn’t want to be named, said: “We saw ambulances with their blue lights on parked on Danes Hill.
“Then we saw one of the paramedics walking along the path by the river, we were not sure what had happened.
“There were two ambulances and an ambulance car.”
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service, added: “We were called to the Lower Rainham Road area at about 8pm on Sunday to reports that a man had fallen from a wall.
“A 28-year-old was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with suspected back and neck injuries.”
