Emergency services including the Coastguard, fire service, ambulance and police helicopter, were called at around 7pm.

An inquest opening at Maidstone's Archbishop's Palace, Maidstone, on Tuesday revealed Mr Streeton, of Stanhope Road, Swanscombe, was the man pulled from the water.

His cause of death was given as traumatic brain injury from a fractured skull.
