Kent Police appeal for information as suspected burglar Denby Collins remains in serious condition after burglary arrest in Gillingham

A suspected burglar remains in a coma in hospital after being taken ill before his arrest.

Police are investigating an incident at a Gillingham address overnight on December 14, last year.

Denby Collins remains in hospital

Denby Collins, 38, was arrested on suspicion of burglary but taken to hospital for medical treatment. Mr Collins was unwell when officers arrived and taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of how he came to be in the house. Mr Collins

Anybody with information about the incident is asked to contact police.

Detectives are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who saw Mr Collins between the hours of 4pm on December 14 and 3.15am on December 15.

He was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans, grey and black trainers and a brown sun hat.

He is described as a white man, around 5ft 8ins tall and with blond shoulder-length hair and a beard.
