Medway man released by police after knife found in Skinner Street in Gillingham

A man who was arrested after a knife was found in overgrowth has been released by police.

Officers in Medway were called to Skinner Street, Gillingham, at 6.25am on May 17.

They were joined by other police on patrols to reports a blade had been discovered.

A 22-year-old man from Medway was arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article.

He was released on bail until Sunday, June 14.

However, on return he was released under investigation.
