A man was taken to hospital with hand injuries after he was reportedly assaulted in Chatham.

Police were called to Constitution Road at 11.21pm yesterday night.

A man was treated at the scene by a crew from the South East Coast Ambulance Service before he was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for treatment.

Inquiries are ongoing.
