A man's body has been found in Rochester.

Police were called at 1.46pm after reports a body had been discovered on land off of Borstal Road.

The man is thought to be in his 20s, and from the Medway area.

Officers are not treating his death as suspicious and his next of kin have been informed.

A police spokesman said the matter was being passed to the coroner.
