Emergency services were called to a crash on the A229 involving a car and two motorcycles.

It happened at around 2.25pm and paramedics treated both bikers for injuries not described as life threatening.

The Maidstone-bound carriageway was closed at the Aylesford exit while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Highways officials confirmed the road reopened just after 4pm.
