A motorist has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a collision in Gillingham.

The incident happened at 11.50pm yesterday, Tuesday. in Brompton Road, near The King Charles Hotel.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were at the scene.

One BMW car was involved in the accident and a female passenger suffered minor cuts to her head.

A 33-year-old man from Sheerness was arrested at the scene. He is being questioned at Medway Police Station.
