A motorist is recovering in hospital after suffering serious injuries to his hand and arm after a crash in Waldersalde.

It happened at about 1.20am on Saturday, August 22, in Walderslade Woods, Chatham, between Tunbury Avenue and Fosington Way.

Police were called after a red Vauxhall Vectra overturned and collided with trees.

No other vehicles were involved.

The road was closed for a short time while emergency services dealt with the incident.
