A fundraisier will be held today in memory of student Molly McLaren.

The 23-year-old, who lived in Cobham and was a former student at North Kent College in Dartford, died in June when she was stabbed in the car park of Chatham’s Dockside Outlet centre.

Her family and friends have since set up a foundation in her name – aimed at raising cash for charities supporting people with eating disorders. Molly, a University of Kent student when she died, had suffered with the illness.

Free exercise classes will be on offer with music provided by a live DJ.

The next event will be Let’s Chat when a guest speaker from B-eat, a charity supporting people with an eating disorder, will be talking about how to identify the signs, approach the topic and where to get support and services the charity offered.
