'Your family really love you' - mum's message to missing Gillingham girl Sophie Johansen

Police are appealing for help to find a teenage girl who has been missing for two days.

Sophie Johansen, 16 was last seen walking towards Gillingham town centre in the Franklin Road area at around 10.20am on Monday, October 8.

She is as white, 5ft 2in tall, with long blonde hair and a slim build and was wearing black clothing, jeans and a black padded jacket.

Mum Sue Saunders said she was desperate to get information on Sophie's whereabouts.

"She's just gone and I don't know if she's still in the area," said Sue, who had this message for her daughter: "Your family really love you and we desperately want you to contact anybody to say you are safe."

Sophie Johansen, 16, has been missing since Monday morning

Anyone with information about Sophie’s whereabouts is asked to call Kent Police on 101 quoting 08-446.
