A man is due in court today charged with murdering a father-of-two from Strood after being extradited from Italy.

The charges follow the fatal shooting of Mr Krasniqi, in Hove, East Sussex, on Saturday, May 18.

He was shot in the abdomen and taken to hospital, but later died.

The Albanian national, from the Marlowe Park area of Strood, was in Brighton with his wife, their four-year-old daughter and son, seven, when trouble broke out at about 11.30pm.

Two men with Mr Krasniqi were unhurt despite being shot at. Police are treating those incidents as attempted murder.
