A Gillingham woman who has denied murdering a father-of-three is due to stand trial at the Old Bailey today.

Health care assistant Leonie Granger, of Balmoral Road, is charged with killing Mehmet Hassan at his Islington home in March 2014.

The 24-year-old former Upbury Manor school pupil has admitted conspiracy to rob, but denies murder and false imprisonment.

Leonie Granger has been found guilty of manslaughter.
Mehmet Hassan was found dead in Islington in March last year

Mr Hassan’s body was found on Monday, March 24, 2014, at a property in Baxter Road, Islington, London.
