A murderer who is awaiting sentence for stabbing a man to death admitted two counts of supplying drugs when he appeared in court.

Billy Dole, 29, killed Peter Beale near Rochester Bridge, in September last year and pleaded guilty to murder in March.

Earlier this month, Levi Webb admitted to killing Mr Beale near Rochester Bridge, on the day he was due to go back on trial for manslaughter.

Webb, 23, was earlier this year cleared of the murder of Mr Beale, 39, from Sittingbourne.

A jury at Maidstone Crown Court could not agree a verdict of manslaughter after 13-and-half hours of deliberations, and a retrial was ordered.

However, Labourer Webb, of Scholars Rise, Strood, pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Mr Beale at the same court at the beginning of December.

Mr Beale's body was discovered near the bridge and Dole, of Chorister Close, Hoo, fled the country to Turkey, but was arrested upon his return and was charged with Mr Beale's murder.

Dole has been in custody since admitting his part in the revenge stabbing.

On Monday, the two appeared in the dock at Maidstone Crown Court and Dole for the first time admitted possession with the intent to supply heroin and possession with the intent to supply crack cocaine between August and September last year.

The attack on Mr Beale happened after he robbed Webb of drugs and cash.

Drugs runner Webb then informed boss Dole about the incident and the pair went in search of crack cocaine addict Mr Beale.

After the killing, Dole fled to Northern Cyprus and then on to Turkey before being arrested a week later when he returned to Gatwick Airport.

Another woman, Rachel Woods, has also been found guilty of helping her partner, Dole, flee the country.

Woods is now facing prison after helping him leave Kent and will be sentenced later.

A second woman, Woods’ mother Linda Harris, 56, of School Road, Marshland St James, Wisbech, Norfolk has admitted a similar charge and will also be sentenced at a later date.

Dole and Webb, who had previously admitted drug dealing, will be sentenced on Friday, January 31 at the same court.
