Rhys Costello of no fixed address and Shelby-Lea Hanson, from Green Lane, Dagenham will appear at Maidstone Crown Court

A man and a woman will appear at crown court after being accused of supplying heroin and cocaine.

Rhys Costello, 25, of no fixed address and Shelby-Lea Hanson, 21, of Green Lane, Dagenham, were arrested on Friday June 19, in Priory Road, Strood, after officers pulled over the car they travelling in.

It is alleged officers found 14 grams of heroin and 206 wraps of cocaine inside.

Costello was later charged with possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply, possession of cannabis and with possessing an offensive weapon.

The case was heard at Maidstone Crown Court

He was remanded into custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, July 10.

Hanson was charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine and with possession of cannabis.

She has been bailed to also appear at Maidstone Crown Court on the same day.

A third person, a 21-year-old man from Stockwell, was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply and is bailed pending further enquiries until Tuesday, July 21.
