Police called to Chatham Hill after man allegedly assaults ambulance staff

A 26-year-old man was arrested after paramedics reported being attacked in an ambulance.

It was alleged that the medical staff had been assaulted by a man who was being conveyed in an ambulance.

Officers attended and a 26-year-old man from Rochester was arrested and taken into custody.

He was later bailed, pending further inquiries, until Saturday, October 22.
