Man airlifted to hospital after crash in Claremont Way, Chatham

A man has been airlifted to hospital after a crash in an underpass.

The man was walking along Claremont Way in Chatham at 1.30pm yesterday when he was involved in a collision with a red Ford Focus.

He was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries.

Police from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to talk to anyone who saw either the man or the vehicle before or after the crash.
