Traffic in Luton Road, Chatham, after person hit by car

Traffic is building this morning after a person was hit by a car and taken to hospital.

It happened in Edinburgh Road, Chatham, at around 7.40am.

The road is behind Luton Junior School and beside Luton Infant School.

Traffic is said to be blocked around this area.

One person was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for treatment.

It is believed they suffered minor injuries.
