Police looking for man who hugged and touched girl inappropriately in Strood park

A pervert is being hunted by police after he hugged a touched a young girl inappropriately as she walked alone in a Strood park.

Police investigating the incident have issued a computer generated image of a man - who was said to have been walking two dogs at time - they would like to speak to.

The teenage girl was walking across Rede Common in Strood when she was hugged by the man who then went on to touch her inappropriately.

The suspect, who is thought to be about 50, was walking a black and a golden dog at the time of the incident and was wearing a green jacket and green waterproof boots.

The incident happened at lunchtime on Wednesday, March 30.

DC David Preston said: “There were a number of people in the area at the time and I am keen to hear from anyone who may have information about the man or what happened.”
