Medway's English Festival

The latest edition of the Medway Messenger is in the shops now with all the latest news, pictures and sport from the weekend.

We have two pages of pictures from Medway's English Festival on Saturday, where there was no shortage of national pride to mark St George's Day.

It was full steam ahead for the annual Festival of Steam and Transport at Chatham's Historic Dockyard yesterday. With good weather forecast for today, another cracking family day out is promised on the festival's last day.

And with just four days to go until the wedding of the year, we tell how Medway is ready for a right royal party.

In news, an argy bhaji between two Indian restuarants has ended up at the High Court. We also reveal why trains were cancelled and commuters delayed across Medway on Thursday - a suitcase left on the platform at Rainham station.
