Police and ambulances in Saunders Street, Gillingham as officers launch investigation

Police and forensics teams were called to an address after a 'medical incident'.

Detectives were spotted outside the property in Saunders Street, Gillingham about 8.30am.

Paramedics are also in the street but it has not been confirmed if there are any casualties.

Emergency services are continuing to carry out inquiries in the street and at the house.

A police spokesman confirmed their officers were called to "assist with a medical incident" after a referral from South East Coast Ambulance services at 8.43am.

An ambulance service spokesman said he could not comment due to the incident taking place at a private address.
