Pear Tree Lane has reopened after a four vehicle collision in Pear Tree Lane, Hempstead

A road has been reopened after police were at the scene of a four vehicle collision.

The incident happened in Pear Tree Lane, Hempstead and caused the road to be blocked.

A video on Facebook of the scene shows a grey car with a damaged bumper and multiple cars pulled over at the side of the road.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "Police were called to a four vehicle collision in Pear Tree Lane, Gillingham, at 12.14pm on Saturday, September 22."

"No injuries were reported however the collision did cause the road to become blocked. The scene has since cleared and the road is now fully open."
