Police called to stabbing in Northcote Road, Strood

A man has been taken to a hospital after being stabbed.

Police went to Northcote Road, Strood just after 2am this morning to reports of an assault.

They said that the injury was consistent with a stab wound.

Police inquiries are ongoing.

Spokesman for the ambulance service, Rich Airey, said: "One man was assessed and treated for an abdomen wound before being taken to a London hospital."
