A 38-year-old man who was reported missing in Gillingham has been found safe and well.

Police launched an appeal to locate Eddie Phillips yesterday evening after he had not been seen since around 8.50am in Beatty Avenue.

Officers said they were growing increasingly concerned for his welfare, but today they confirmed he has since been found.

Police thanked everyone who had helped with the appeal.
