Neil Wheatley, 48, of Tuscan Drive, Lordswood, in court after police seize £600,000 worth of cocaine

A man has been remanded in custody after police seize £600,000 worth of cocaine.

After searching three addresses in Medway on Friday police discovered cocaine and around £60,000 cash.

Neil Wheatley, 48, of Tuscan Drive, Lordswood, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, and possession of criminal property.

Two women from Chatham, aged 22 and 41, were also arrested on suspicion of drug offences but were released pending further inquiries.

Mr Wheatley appeared before Medway magistrates yesterday, he was remanded in custody and is due in Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, January 14.
