A prisoner, who was thought to be on the run in Kent after absconding from an open prison, has been arrested.
Lucas Lamb, 31, has links to the Medway Towns and, in particular, Strood.
He absconded from HMP Ford, in West Sussex, on Friday, September 5.
Lamb was jailed after being convicted of grievous bodily harm with intent in October 2012 after an incident in Hailsham, where he seriously injured a man with a knife.
Sightings in Medway were reported last September after he walked out of the Category D prison and failed to return.
He was arrested by officers in East Sussex on Friday morning and has been returned to a closed prison.
