Man suffered serious injuries when he was hit over the head in Ingram Road, Gillingham, police want to talk to two men

Detectives investigating an alleged attempted robbery in Gillingham have renewed their appeal for information.

Police released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to after receiving a report that a man was struck in the head by an unknown object in Ingram Road, at around 9.45pm, on Monday September 28.

The victim reportedly suffered serious injuries.

Detective Constable Clive Fowler, of Kent Police, said: "This is an ongoing investigation and I would encourage anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV images to get in touch as you may be able to help with our inquiries."

Witnesses to the incident or anyone who recognises the men in the images is urged to contact DC Clive Fowler at Kent Police by calling 01634 792209 and quoting crime reference XY/33857/15.
