Police appeal for information about missing Adam Jarvis

Officers are continuing their search for a 40-year-old man who was reported missing from Strood six days ago.

Adam Jarvis was reported missing just before 12.30pm on July 20.

He was last seen in Albatross Avenue, Strood, heading into the underpass under the M2 bridge.

It is believed that he may have entered a wooded area near by underpass.

Mr Jarvis is described as being white and 6ft 1ins tall with a large build and short brown hair. He also has shoulder to elbow length tribal tattoos on both arms.

He was last seen wearing cargo shorts which are described as being dark green/ khaki or brown, a dark coloured t-shirt and blue trainers.

Insp Tony Cannon said: “We are very concerned for the welfare of Mr Jarvis and are continuing to carry out extensive searches to establish his whereabouts. We believe Adam is still in the Kent area but can’t rule out that he may have links to Plymouth.”

Anyone with information on Mr Jarvis’ whereabouts is asked to call Kent Police on 101 quoting 20- 0582.
