Police called to reports of teenager stabbed in Gillingham

Police and ambulance crews were called to a busy residential street last night amid reports on social media that a teenager had been stabbed.

At least two police cars and an ambulance were called to East Street, Gillingham, at around 8.30pm.

Reports on social media said it was believed a teenager had been stabbed.

The residents of that road were believed to have been told to stay in their houses, and no one could go in or out the road.

Police have been asked for information.
