Mill Road, Gillingham closed after assault

Four people have been arrested after a man was assaulted.

The incident took place in the Victoria Street area of Gillingham at around 11.45am.

Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to Mill Road, Gillingham where a man was taken to hospital with injuries.

Mill Road was closed while officers made inquiries. It reopened at 3.26pm.

Two men aged 24 and 28, and two women aged 18 and 19, all from London, were arrested in connection with the incident and taken into police custody.

A Silver Fiat 500X parked in Brompton Road was seized by officers.
