Maidstone Road in Chatham closed after car hits telegraph pole

A car has smashed into a telegraph pole in Chatham.
The accident happened just after 8pm.
Police closed Maidstone Road and paramedics were called.
The road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the crash.
It is not known if anyone has been seriously injured.
