David Leavey, 37 from Frindsbury Road, Strood has been missing since December and police are appealing for information on his whereabouts

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a missing man from Strood.

David Leavey, 37 from Frindsbury Road was last seen in New Road, Chatham on Thursday December 11, 2014 where he met a friend.

They then arranged by text on Friday December 12 to meet up on Saturday December 13 but Mr Leavey did not show up.

David Leavey, 37, has been missing since December.

Mr Leavey has not been seen or made contact with any friends or family since and officers are concerned for his welfare.

He is described as a white man around 6ft 1ins, with a receding hair line and has stubble on his face.

Mr Leavey is thought to have links to the boating community.

Anybody who has seen Mr Leavey, or who has information about his whereabouts, is asked to call Kent Police on 101, quoting incident reference 30-1317.
