Strood Academy warns parents of man seen exposing himself in Darnley Road

A school sent out messages to parents warning them of a man exposing himself in a nearby street.

A message was sent out to parents from Strood Academy, Carnation Road, yesterday afternoon ahead of home time.

The school informed parents that a member of the public had warned them about a man exposing himself in an alleyway near Tesco Express in Darnley Road, up to Hawthorn Road.

The message, sent to parents by email via the school's messaging system, was shared on community Facebook groups.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "Kent Police has received a report that a man indecently exposed himself in an alley near Elaine Avenue in Rochester at around 1pm on Tuesday, May 7"

"At present, no suspects have been identified but officers from the Medway Community Safety Unit are aware of the circumstances and will act on any further information that comes to light."
