Jack Belson, from Chatham, charged with shoplifting after being caught on camera

A Chatham man has been charged with 15 counts of shoplifting after being identified by police on CCTV.

Jack Belson, 20, of Devon Close, pleaded guilty to the offences at Mid Kent Magistrates' Court in Maidstone on December 2.

The thefts are reported to have taken place at various locations in Medway between August 21 and November 20.

A range of items including alcohol, motor oil, chocolates, Manuka honey and dishwasher tablets were reported stolen.

Belson was remanded and will appear before Maidstone Crown Court at a future date.
